Well, the 10 guest books full of comments stretching back into the prior century really say it all. My favorite comment was from the guest that said in all uppercase WE DID NOTHING, and that’s exactly what we did, other than take nice walks and have a fire every night and look out over the lake and say hello to all the different kinds of birds that came to visit us all day long and cooked delicious meals and took terrific naps and even sunbathed on the deck on the 2nd of January if you can believe that.
