The Whispering Hills Cabins are just lovely! We enjoyed our secluded getaway so much and the cabin was our favorite part of the trip. The cabins are situated upon the cliffside overlooking Beaver Lake. You can see the lake from the deck and it’s about 10 min drive down to the water for a boat slip, swimming, etc. You can see neighboring cabins but it still felt pretty secluded and the trees offer some extra privacy. The grounds are well kept and we saw deer every evening on the neighboring cabin’s lawn. Beverly was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked (even blender, crockpot, steak knives, etc). The bed is super comfy. The place is immaculately cleaned. Getting there and parking was super easy. The jacuzzi tub and deck view are the best parts of the cabin and sooooo relaxing. We planned on renting kayaks or going boating but the kayak rentals that delivered were closed due to covid and boat rentals need to be booked in advance (do this as soon as you book if you’re interested!). Lost Bridge Marina South was also closed for day use due to covid but the swimming area at Lost Bridge North made up for it – crystal clear water and gorgeous beach area with picnic tables and grills, not busy at all. I hope we can come stay here again!
