My husband and I enjoyed staying here for our 21st anniversary. The cabin was very clean, very quiet, and very comfortable. I loved the view of the lake from the bedroom and enjoyed listening to the birds while reading on the porch swing in the early mornings. The bathroom and kitchen were comfortably stocked with needed supplies. This is a perfect place to go if you want to enjoy quiet, nature, and just being together away from it all. This cabin surpassed our expectations!
As a note: One has a beautiful view of the bluffs over the lake from the bedroom – love it! If one wants to see the bluffs up close, it appears one needs a motorized boat or jet ski, or needs to be a pretty good kayaker. We kayaked from the marina at Lost Bridge North, but after kayaking about 3 miles out (which works out to 6 miles round trip), realized we were not going to make it to the bluffs we viewed from the window. Even without making it to the bluffs pictured, I enjoyed the views from the lake and seeing the bald eagles and other birds soaring overhead. (We brought our own kayaks.)
All in all, we loved our stay and put it on our list of places to which we plan to return!
